ASAHI OPT. CO. Super-Multi-Coated TAKUMAR 50mm f/1.4 (這顆鏡頭可追溯到 1971, 1972)

"There are minor, subtle differences over the years. The Super-Tak and S.-M.-C. Tak were from back when Pentax was competing with Zeiss, and Pentax allegedly produced every fast normal lens it made at a loss — the quality level is very high and reflects a lot of hand-building and hand-inspection."
"The early Takumar designs were gorgeously built — they're just about the smoothest-focusing lenses ever made, Leica not excepted."
Pro
one of the sharpest normal lens ever made
Con
have an internal element made of material known as "hot glass" which turns yellowish to brownish with age
Bonus
If these lens were manufactured and marketed today, it would most likely have to sell for $1,200 to $1,500 (oops!
"Many of the 1.4/50mm lenses were critized in terms of performance -compared to the best f/2 lenses - except one: the Pentax. One of the best standard lenses ever, and the best f/1.4 lens at its time and long afterwards -since 1965 quite unchanged til present: 7 elements/ 6 groups. This is the last but one version in M42 von 1971-72 (No.37902), open-aperture-metering-capable, multi-coated (SMC), and the last one with the knobbed full-metal focus ring. Heavy and solid but always somewhat more harmonic and graceful in style than NIKKOR's - swivels runs like silk, hellishly sharp at f/1.4 and enormous at f/8. You will not see this again except you pay 2.500 bucks for a new aspherical Summilux for Leica-M."
